Thank you from the Chair of the Board

Dear Friends and Loyal Supporters,

On behalf of our care teams, who have been working tirelessly during these 12 months, I thank you for the support you have given us during these uncharted times. Our caregivers continue to draw strength from the support you show, whether by lawn signs, notes, or gifts to our hospital.

We are excited to welcome Tom Sands, MBA, MHA, FACHE, as President of Beverly and Addison Gilbert Hospitals. He succeeds Phil Cormier, who recently retired after six years as president of Beverly and Addison Gilbert Hospitals and a total of 27 years of service to our organization.

Tom brings not only his health care administration expertise but also a proven commitment to communities he has served professionally. He stepped into his new role April 5th, following a national search. Read more about Tom’s background here and join me in welcoming him to our community!

As we continue through the pandemic, we are proudly vaccinating individuals throughout our community, while continuing to care for those with COVID-19 and protecting the safety of our patients and staff. Please know that we remain here for you 24/7, to provide the care you need as emergencies and acute issues arise. And of course, we are all buoyed with each precious new life we deliver here.

I am profoundly grateful for your generosity. Your gifts to Addison Gilbert Hospital enable us to provide the highest quality patient care close to home.

With sincere appreciation,

Nancy Palmer
