Thank you from the President

To Our Dedicated Friends and Supporters,

Since joining the remarkable team here at Addison Gilbert and Beverly Hospitals, it has been an honor and a pleasure to get to know members of our dedicated staff, our volunteer leaders, and our supporters. Each member of our community has been invaluable in navigating the challenges of the past year, and I am humbled by your unwavering commitment to ensuring our patients and their families receive the best possible care.

Although I am just getting started on this journey, it’s already quite clear to me that there’s something very special about this organization. Addison Gilbert and Beverly Hospitals are truly making a lasting impact on lives across the North Shore. Those who seek care here have come to count on us for leading-edge treatment, close to home. Those who work here are dedicated to providing the best care experience possible, and to continuing to grow and innovate through partnerships with colleagues throughout our Beth Israel Lahey Health system. And you, those who support Addison Gilbert and Beverly Hospitals, are caring, loyal, and generous with your time and resources. I can see precisely why you have chosen to be a central part of our work. I am excited to be here and couldn’t be more grateful to you for helping make our hospitals the trusted healthcare providers in our community.

On behalf of each and every patient we serve, thank you for your generosity and your partnership. Philanthropy is critical to everything we have accomplished and everything we are striving for in the future. I look forward to working together to ensure that our hospitals continue to accomplish great things in our community.

Sincerely,

Tom Sands, MBA, MHA, FACHE
