Laughing and giving back both feel great. Why not do both at the same time?
Some of Boston’s best comedians are coming to Danvers for one night only!
Bring your family and friends to Comics Against Cancer, a hilarious evening of food, drinks and laughs for adults ages 21 and up. Proceeds go to the Lahey Health Cancer Institute, which serves patients at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center in Burlington and four other Beth Israel Lahey Health hospitals from Gloucester to Winchester.
Your ticket purchase to Comics Against Cancer can help pay for services like our Survivorship Program and provide amenities to patients who are on one of the hardest journeys of their lives.
One of the funniest ladies in America!
Kelly MacFarland is a veteran of the Boston comedy scene, having performed on Comedy Central, AXS TV’s Gotham Comedy Live and NBC’s Last Comic Standing. Her second album, You Woke Up Today, is available on iTunes and Amazon.
Laugh til it hurts!
Shawn Carter is a comedy staple in the Boston area, hosting shows at Maggy’s Lounge in Quincy and the Pour House in Boston. He regularly performs at the Comedy Studio and Dick Doherty’s. His album, 100 Problems, which made it onto the Billboard Comedy chart, is available on iTunes and Amazon.
Tooky Kavanagh’s sharp delivery earned her a spot as the December 2018 comic-in-residence at the world famous Comedy Studio in Somerville. She also hosts her own show, Token: Rethink What Comedy Can Be. Tooky has also performed at the Women in Comedy Festival and the Boston Comedy Festival.
Emcee (and master of sass!)
Corey has performed in New York City and all over New England. His loud voice, quick wit and unapologetic sass will keep you laughing all night (and the next day at work when no one knows what the heck you’re laughing at over there by yourself). He has played the Comedy Studio, Laugh Boston, Nick’s Comedy Stop, and the Broadway Comedy Club.
