Lahey Creates Emergency Response Fund for COVID-19

Support your hospital’s response to the COVID-19 public health emergency

Your health is the top priority for our providers at Lahey Hospital & Medical Center, where clinicians and staff are working around the clock to do everything possible to protect the health and safety of patients, staff and community during the COVID-19 pandemic.

This public health emergency has affected every aspect of our daily lives. The impact on our health care system — including our hospitals, clinics and physician practices — is just as profound. We are preparing to care for a surge of critically ill patients in the coming days and weeks.

How can you help?

By making a gift to the Lahey Hospital & Medical Center Emergency Response Fund, which will provide immediate resources to Dr. David Longworth and hospital leadership as they respond to the pandemic.

We are reconfiguring hospital spaces to accommodate more patients, procuring additional supplies, and creating a drive-up testing operation so patients with doctor’s orders who qualify for a test can be screened in a secure area and remain in their vehicle for the entire process. We have brought new telemedicine technology online to facilitate care for patients whose conditions allow them to be safely cared for via phone or video consultations. And there is much more to do.

Please make a gift now by clicking here. If you make your gift in honor of a provider, we will let them know that you have inspired their giving!

If you are interested in donating supplies or equipment, please click here for more information. To ensure that we can safely use any donated items or equipment for patient care purposes, our safety and infection control experts need to review information about the items before they can be distributed to any of the hospitals in the Beth Israel Lahey Health system.

Our clinicians thank you! Meet a few of our doctors, nurses and advanced practitioners.
