Doctor, Practice Honor Nurse with Gift to Establish Education Fund in Her Name

Mohammed Jaleel, MD, and his practice, Winchester Hospital Inpatient Physicians, have made a $50,000 gift to start a fund named after Marlene Williamson, RN, MSN. Marlene, Winchester’s beloved assistant chief nursing officer, is retiring in July after 40 years.

To help achieve that goal, the James F. McDonough, MD, Fund for Nurse Education and Development was established in 2002. Money for this fund is raised primarily through the annual James F. McDonough, MD, Golf Classic, and it provides scholarships to qualified nurses wishing to expand their knowledge and expertise.
