Support Winchester Hospital’s response to the COVID-19 public health emergency
Your health is the top priority for our providers at Winchester Hospital, where clinicians and staff are working around the clock to do everything possible to protect the health and safety of patients, staff and community during the COVID-19 pandemic.
This public health emergency has affected every aspect of our daily lives. The impact on our health care system — including our hospitals, clinics and physician practices — is just as profound. We are preparing to care for a surge of critically ill patients in the coming days and weeks.
How can you help?
A note from our hospital President, Richard Weiner, MD:
It’s a sacred honor to be able to take care of people in their time of need. That’s what we do. It’s why we’ve always been here at Winchester Hospital. This is an unprecedented time.
Our dedicated staff and providers have been working tirelessly to deal with and prepare for this COVID-19 crisis. Now more than ever it’s important to show them our support and help them in this fight.
It’s in this spirit that I’ve created the Winchester Hospital Healthcare Heroes Fund. It is a vehicle for individuals to make donations that can be used in whichever way is most appropriate and effective. My wife Janice and I are making the initial contribution to get it started. I invite you to join in!
Thank you for all that you do. It enables us to fulfill our mission. To care. To heal. To excel. In support of our community.
Make a gift to the Winchester Hospital Healthcare Heroes Fund, which provides immediate resources to our nurses, physicians and hospital leaders to fight the pandemic.
This fund will give us the resources needed right now to be here for our community. We are reconfiguring hospital spaces to accommodate more patients (and training staff to care for patients in a different setting), expanding ICU capacity, and procuring additional equipment and supplies. We have set up telehealth capabilities enabling patients to be cared for while maintaining social distancing, and have postponed non-urgent elective procedures, visits, appointments and surgeries. Your support will help to address these efforts and other emergency responses, and it is critically needed.
Please make a gift now by clicking here. If you make your gift in honor of a provider, we will let them know that they have inspired your giving!
As always, all gifts to Winchester Hospital remain here, serving our community.
